Our SHARPSGUARD eco anatomical 11.5 is for the safe disposal of anatomical waste, including recognisable body parts and placentas. Each container comes with five placenta bags. This is the next evolution of the SHARPSGUARD container, offering a sustainable alternative made from 41% recycled plastic. This container is for disposal by incineration or other authorised process and is designed for the consignment of waste categorised by EWC codes: 18 01 02, 18 01 03* & 18-02-02*.

Usage

How to assemble the lid

  • Only assemble the lid when you are ready to dispose of the container
  • To dispose of a placenta, please use the bag provided and tie the bag with a knot.
  • When full, to close the container, place the lid on the container, press firmly all around the lid ensuring an audible click is heard.
Completing the label 
  • Once container is started, fill in the completion area on the label with site, area, and name and start date 
  • When container is locked, ready for disposal, finalise the completion area with name and close date
