3M™ Speedglas™ Welding Helmet 9100-QR, 583605 includes the auto-darkening filter 9100V and the 3M™ Safety Helmet H-701. For eye, face and head protection with a welding visor that can be detached for non-weld jobs while your safety helmet stays in place, get 3M™ Speedglas™ Welding Helmet 9100-QR, 583605. 3M™ Speedglas™ Welding Filter Series 9100 continues our tradition of outstanding optical quality, including uniform shading and minimal distortion across the entire filter viewing area. The welding filter 9100V has seven variable dark shades (5, 8 and 9-13) for most types of arc welding, a viewing area of 45 mm x 93 mm and is made for the professional welder. The included 3M™ Safety Helmet H-701 is comfortable, tough and lightweight, with a low profile for balance and stability. The short brim provides better upwards visibility. A range of accessories including integrated safety spectacles and six-point suspension strap are available to purchase separately. The Quick Release (QR) Rail allows you to easily attach and detach the welding visor as needed. You don’t have to remove your safety helmet – so your head is protected at all times. The side windows (shade 5) can help widen your field of vision when wearing in the down position and exhaled air is channelled out via the helmets side vents which may reduce the likelihood of a foggy welding filter. Delay function sets the welding filter dark-to-light opening time, and it’s possible to lock-in any shade, e.g. in light state 3 when grinding. It has a switching time (light-dark) of 0.1 ms, and the sensitivity of the arc detection can be adjusted for reliable switching. It features a tack welding comfort mode which may help reduce eye fatigue as the welding filter uses an intermediate shade 5 light state to help minimize eye strain during extended tack welding applications. If an arc is not struck within 2 seconds the welding filter will switch back to its normal light state (shade 3). |
