The Premises Information Box High Security C (HSS PIB® C) System, is designed to provide fast access for the Fire & Rescue Service to building plans and information accommodated in A3 size format. This is so that attending fire crews can access and utilise plans whilst wearing firefighters’ kit.
As part of the “HSS PIB® C”, a comprehensive Emergency Response Pack guidance manual is provided which has been carefully prepared with input from experienced fire service professionals. The Emergency Response Pack guidance manual contains good practice guidelines on the process of preparing premises plans and collating information, including sections on orientation plans, layout & contents and safety & emergency features and is accompanied by comprehensive symbols in bitmap and jpeg formats.
