The model 47 energy absorber is an indispensable element for a safe fall arrest system. It is designed to safely arrest falls from heights, as a part of a fall arrest system . Its special design ensures a braking force of less than 6 kN and a maximum stoppage distance of less than 4.75 m.
The innovative shock absorber intergrated in the elastic lanyard will be opened progressively in the case of a fall, reducing the damage of the user, in comparison of the classical shock absorber

- Securing strap: made of woven synthetic fibre of 50mm nominal width. With a tubular construction and incorporating an elastic inside to avoid undesired stretching of the strap
- Energy absorber: made of interwoven synthetic fibre to dissipate the energy generated by a fall
- Connectors: includes one connector mod.49, 60mm diameter opening and a model 32, with opening diameter of 19 mm."
- Stitches: continuous bonded nylon thread.
